A NEW ERA - 2026

I've recently discovered an exciting new passion for collage, stencilling, and spray painting that has opened up fresh creative possibilities in my practice. These techniques build on my love of layering and texture from my abstract work, but allow me to incorporate figurative and graphic elements in a way that feels truly liberating. Working with found imagery, stencils, and spray paint alongside traditional painting gives me greater artistic freedom and a new visual language to explore. This is an evolving development in my practice, and I'm excited to see where this experimentation takes my work.

A city doesn't ask if you're ready; it just comes at you, layered, loud, and relentless. 'Concrete Bloom' was born from that reality; the noise, the grind, the chaos that never quite lets up. But look closer, and something else emerges…a crowned figure, flowers forcing their way through the disorder, colour bleeding through the cracks. The drips aren't damage, they're proof of life. This painting is about what it means to survive the city and still stand in it with your head up, still find something worth celebrating in the chaos. Beauty here isn't polished or precious….it's earned

This is a collage made out of prints of my previous work. I deconstructed and reconstructed them...almost giving them a second life. I also worked into the piece using acrylic paint and and spray paint.

'UNITY'
MIXED MEDIA ON BOARD
50CM X 40CM

A mixed media piece where a cascade of red butterflies forms a flowing path across warm ochre, orange, and pink textures. The female figure emerges softly from layered paint, stencilling and collage, her profile delicate yet present within the worked surface. The butterflies create movement and connection, suggesting transformation, flight, and collective strength. Set against luminous golden and peachy tones with expressive mark-making, the work explores themes of harmony between individual identity and shared experience through intuitive layering and mixed media techniques.
